As of September 22, Boulderz Climbing Centre is required to validate the vaccination status of participants

WHY is Boulderz doing this
Boulderz is a sporting facility and all sporting facilities, fitness clubs and gyms are required to request this information and have a method to check and track participants.

WHAT do I need to know

Upon arrival at the Guest Services front desk you must:

  • Provide Government-issued ID • Birth certificate, Citizenship card, Driver’s license, Government (Ontario or other) issued identification card, including health card, Indian Status Card /Indigenous Membership Card, Passport, Permanent Resident card


  • Produce a physical or digital vaccination receipt with a Health Canada approved Vaccine (must be 14 days post administration to be valid)  For those vaccinated in Ontario download your Vaccine Receipt HERE

When the enhanced vaccine certificate with unique QR code is available via the government system you will be asked to provide this as proof as required

WHO does this impact

Proof of vaccination IS required for those who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine

  • Members, Punch Pass holders, Guests, General Admission participants
  • Participants in courses
  • Supervisors for minors (under the age of 18)
  • In-door dining at Cafe B

Proof of vaccinations are NOT required for the following:

  • Participants under the age of 12, as they can not be vaccinated
  • Participants ages 12 to 17 programs such as AD Rok or JRok
  • VERIFIED Medical Exemptions completed in writing in advance of visit, note will not request any details of the medical exemption. However the Medical exemption letter must be provided by a Medical doctor
  • While placing or picking up an order in our Climb Smart Shop store
  • While making an inquiry at Guest Services at the front desk


  • Feel free to provide your documentation prior to the commencement date to avoid backlogs
  • Be kind to Guest Services at the front desk as they cannot and do not have the authority to change things
  • Email with questions:

    • Medical exemptions requests can be emailed here as well and your request will be directed to the appropriate manager


  • Sending your vaccination information via email is a big no-no. Simply be prepared on the day you arrive
